Claudia and Cristian, both graduates of professional circus schools, met for the first time in 2015 under the big top of “La Tarumba” circus in Peru. Since then, their paths have followed the same road, turning life into a journey made of art, encounters, and wonder. From South America to Europe, from major international festivals to small villages at the edge of the world, Cometa Circus has brought its show to more than 100 festivals in 16 countries, collaborated with important international institutions such as the Italian Cultural Institute in Seoul (2025), “Sladami Singera” (Poland 2023), Cia Lumen (Switzerland 2023), and shared the stage under the tents of Circo Patuf (Italy 2020–23) and Flic Flac Circus (Germany 2017).

But for Claudia and Cristian, circus is not only about applause: it is about shining eyes, hands that hold each other, and dreams that are sparked in everyone they meet. For this reason, over the years they have been engaged in various social circus projects—from Tunisia to Chile, from Turkey to Mexico, from Italy to Peru—bringing their art into contexts where circus becomes a tool of encounter, inclusion, and personal growth, because every smile is a small act of revolution.

CRISTIAN TRELLES

He studied at the university of Piura, in his city, but in order to pursue his artistic vocation he moved to study at "La Tarumba" circus school in Lima.

His unstoppable curiosity has led him to get closer to various circus disciplines: his first love is the aerial rope, but he is also a very good juggler and acrobat, he rides the unicycle and he can do incredible vaulting on horses.

Needless to say, he loves traveling and challenging himself with complicated games of brain training.
